06/19/09 Vacant Home In Neshannock Twp Destroyed By Fire

06/19/09 A vacant Neshannock Twp. home was destroyed by fire around 4.am.this morning. The New Castle Fire Department was first called to the 208 E. Euclid Avenue home because it was believed to be in the city. When it was determined to be in Neshannock Township, that fire department was called. Firemen arrived to find the home totally involved with fire. Police awoke residents in nearby homes and got them to safety. The intense heat melted siding on homes located at 206 and 210 E. Euclid. Nearby residents stated that the home had been vacant for a few months. The state fire Marshall was called to investigate the fire.
