Excessive speed and alcohol are factors in a two car crash that happened around 1:30 this morning in Lawrence County. A Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 21-year old Sean Catterson from Maryland, crashed into the side of a Pontiac Sunfire  as it was turning into a private driveway along  East Neshannock Avenue in New Wilmington.The driver of the Sunfire, 19-year old Megan Roddy from Mercer, had to be extricated from her car by members of the New Wilmington Fire Department. She was flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown where her last known condition was listed as serious. Catterson failed field sobriety tests and was transported to a local hospital for blood alcohol testing.
